Meet the team
Our Founder
Our Founder & CEO, Yanay, is a Miami Native fondly familiar with the field of Home Care Services. Yanay's older sister, Vanessa, was born with Cri-Du-Chat syndrome. Growing up, Vanessa's unique care needs required in-home skilled nursing care since infantry. Yanay spent her entire childhood witnessing the ins-and-outs of home care services as early as she could remember.
As the years progressed, doctors determined that Vanessa's life expectancy was limited to her adolescence. As the family coped to process this while still providing care to Vanessa, they remained hopeful against the odds.
Fast forward another 30 years, Vanessa is known as a medical marvel to her treating physicians - surviving well past her life expectancy. This miraculous turn of events was thought to be in due credit to the outstanding care Vanessa received at home with her highly-skilled home care team and her loving family. It was with this realization that Yanay decided to learn the trade that ultimately led to her sister's ever lasting presence.
Yanay went on to obtain her Bachelor's of Health Service Administration from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL - where she obtained a wide interest in focusing her studies around Epidemiology and Geriatric care. Soon after, she began her Master's of Business Administration (MBA) at the Florida International University in Miami, FL. Yanay graduated with a dual-specialization Master's of Business Administration degree in Data Analytics and Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
During her college career she was initiated into multiple associations including Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, PROSPANICA (Association of Hispanic MBAs and Business Professionals), American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management, and the National Society of Leadership and Success. She also holds further accrediation in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. In 2019, she was certifed in Quantitative Research and Qualitative Research at Grand Canyon Universty in Phoenix, AZ.
Yanay further demonstrates her dedication to quality Healthcare Management with her 11+ years working across various roles including patient coordinator, healthcare marketing professional, consultant, treatment coordinator, sales, practice relations, project coordinating, and corporate executive assistance with reputable employers and Ivy-League mentors within Georgetown University MedStar Health in Washington, DC - Alexandria, VA & Amazon's corporate team. She has traveled across the US attending various conferences, conventions, exhibits, workshops, lectures, and meeting to learn the finest intricacies that patient-first quality healthcare comprises of. Now it is time to bring it home to flourish our South Florida community.
Our founder decided to return back to her hometown of Miami, FL where she hopes to share her gained experiences in order to set her best foot forward and provide her community with hieghtened quality care and her newest team with the best possible organization they can work for. Her objective is to bring a new force of care with learnings from across the US to compile a new standard of care and introduce South Florida to a higher bar in the industry. Quality assurance for our patients remains the company's main focus.
It was inevitable that the creation of Home Care Centrix LLC would come to fruition in honor of her sister Vanessa and we welcome you all along for the ride to watch us grow with you and for you.
